Speaker Series: Behind the Books with NiNi Harris
634 S Broadway
St. Louis, MO 63102
USA
The Field House Museum welcomes back historian and author, NiNi Harris on Wednesday, June 2, 2021 at 1:00 pm. Passionate about St. Louis history, NiNi has gathered stories and documentation from the oldest parts of the City’s history into 14 books on St. Louis. While her early education around the kitchen table brought about an interest in immigrant communities, she also explores the extraordinary architecture of churches, St. Louis’ role in the American West, and the Union’s involvement in the Civil War. Her many books are an exciting peek into our City’s past, and this time, NiNi will share with us a look behind her books, delving into her research process as a historian.
This Speaker Series program is free with a limited number of seats. Reservations must be made in advance. Reservations may be made through the Field House Museum’s Eventbrite page, by calling 314-421-4689, or emailing programs@fieldhousemuseum.org.
