Take a step back into history at the Field House Museum!
Enjoy today while you explore our past at the Field House Museum. So much more than just a historic house, the Field House Museum not only showcases the many stories of the Field family, but also several great collections of artifacts! Along with touring our 1845 row house, guest will get to see our other exhibits currently on display when visiting the museum.
When you come visit the Field House Museum you will see several great exhibits including What’s Past is Prologue: A House Brimming with Stories, Teddy Bear Picnic, and Threads of Society: American Quilts and the Stories They Tell. Guests will also be able to explore the historic house which is set to the 1850s when the Field Family lived in the residence, and the Eugene Field Library which houses one of the largest collections of works by and about Eugene Field.
While visiting, don’t forget to stop by our museum gift shop and pick up some great goodies! We have a little something for everyone including vintage books, historic toys and games, and some unique boutique items. Stop by today! We are open every Wednesday – Saturday from 10-4 and Sunday Noon-4.
