The Field House Museum Joins Blue Star Museums
The Field House Museum is proud to announce that we are once again participating in Blue Star Museums, a collaboration between the National Endowment for the Arts, Blue Star Families, the Department of Defense, and more than 2,000 museums across America. This great program offers free admission to our nation’s active duty military personnel and their immediate family from Memorial Day through Labor Day.
All summer long members of the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, Coast Guard, as well as members of the National Guard and Reserve, U.S. Public Health Service Commissioned Corps, NOAA Commissioned Corps, and their immediate family members will be able to access the entire museum free of charge when they present their id card. Military members and their families will get a guided tour of the historic house along with access to our current exhibit What’s Past is Prologue: A House Brimming with Stories and upcoming exhibit Teddy Bear Picnic, which opens June 14, 2017.
The Field House Museum is honored to be able to say, “thank you” to our military families through participation in the Blue Star Museums program. If you have questions, please contact the Field House Museum at 314-421-4689 or email us at info@fieldhousemuseum.org.
